My experience was pleasant but not necessarily exceptional. I happened to be seated next to two very uhh lively tables... obviously not to anyone's fault but does detract from the atmosphere. The food was prepared very well, light on salt which I prefer, but if you like more seasoning - add a pinch and perfecto! I definitely appreciated the flavors in the pasta, very well done - Bravo Chef! Service, aside from us having to yell our conversation, the servers were simply divine.
The ambiance of this place is very cool, there's several different areas that give off different vibes. It feels like a new place every time! The food was absolutely delicious! They make all the noodles in house. The service was friendly.
Friday afternoon happy hour at Prati is the best. You've got to go to the second floor bar and grab yourself some of the meatballs and the pimento cheese! The bar service is great and the bartenders are the chillest of guys. Once the sun goes down the second floor atmosphere is just the chillest. Totally recommend for a happy hour after work.
What a great find. We chose this restaurant because we were in the mood for Italian. The bread at the beginning was home made, they make their own pasta and our daughter was able to get a signature drink with their homemade soda. Make sure to save room for dessert because you will not be disappointed. Our server was amazing and made suggestions and explained few dishes. You can get a smaller portion in most. It was top notch for ambiance as well.
Pleasantly surprised with what a fantastic meal we had. We were visiting Jacksonville and drove pasted the restaurant and noticed all the cars so decided to check it out. Happy Hour had brought in a decent crowd and we were even able to take advantage of it in the main dining room. Zach was our server, super charming and very friendly. He was consistent on checking on how we were doing. A lot of the dishes are offered in two sizes opt for the smaller, the portions are big (see photos). We shared the Burrata which was amazing and super fresh. The short rib entree was so tender and served with brussel sprouts. We also had the gnocchi which was some of the best I have ever had. Sadly, no room for dessert but I am sure it would have been as delicious just like the rest of the meal.
The food was very good. The meatball appetizer (which we will have for the entree next time) was delicious--nestled in a small amount of polenta. Really good meatballs, which many places don't do very well. The gnocci was also excellent, though the sugo was a little salty--but still good. Specialty drinks were yummy and the deserts very Italian. The service was outstanding and the ambience (at least by today's standards) was very pleasant--you can actually here each other unlike many restaurants today. We went there for our anniversary and will go again.
I've wanted to try this place out but never got a chance to while in the area, however this trip the professional jax for shrm was meeting here and I got the opportunity to attend this lovely event and check out this restaurant. This was a perfect spot to hold the event the charcuterie board and the mushroom pizza was absolutely stunning. After the event my friend and I was Abel to sit at the upstairs bar and enjoy the full menu. The service from holland the bartender was great very great conversation a great recommendation. I was able to order the shrimp scampi and my friend the gnocchi. This place is more of Italian with a twist/remix so not your average spin on things. The shrimp scampi was good just a few too many olives in it, I would ask for it again but without the olives if possible. My friend enjoyed her gnocchi very much so she ate it all in one sitting. The calamari was delightful and flavor bursting especially with the red pepper hummus. I did order the Tarimsu to go and it was just okay in my opinion it was lacking that strong coffee taste to it but again that's just my preference. Overall I will be back to try some other menu items like that 13 layer lasagna. The interior design is absolutely stunning, plenty of space, downstairs and upstairs they have indoor and outdoor palaces both upstairs and downstairs. Well thought-out designer.
I enjoyed my birthday dinner Friday night. The food was great and we had good service as well. We sat in a private area that we shared with another party briefly. The reason I give 4 stars is because we were told if our party was 12 people or less, gratuity isn't automatically added. We had 11 guests but we still had a gratuity charge plus an additional large party charge on our check. Additionally, my sister ordered 2 Remy margaritas which she loves to order anywhere we go. Instead of returning to the table to inform my sister the drinks would be $36 each (unheard of), she made them. My sister said they were good but she was shocked that one drink was more than the price of 2 cocktails from the drink menu. Multiple people on our party unknowingly ordered the same drink and were surprised by the price on the bill. Overall, we had a great experience and despite the ridiculous uncharged on the special drink request, everyone was pleased and said they'd return for dinner.
Food is always awesome here, First time having the brunch and the steak and eggs were great. Gnocchi was a bit unflavorful, but still a great item to try. Service is always amazing very personal and fun. Such a cool place to eat at. Very cool vibe. Will definitely be going back. This will have been the third time. Been coming here before it was Pradi.
